Opis obrazka jest jednym z zadań maturalnych. Jest kilka sposobów rozwiązywania tego zadania. Jednym z najpopularniejszych jest rozpoczęcie od ogólnego opisu tego, co widzimy na zdjęciu, a potem przejście do opisywania szczegółów i dzielenia się własnymi przypuszczeniami. Najważniejsze jest uwzględnienie opisu sytuacji, przedmiotów i osób przedstawionych na ilustracji, nie musi być jednak bardzo szczegółowy. Do opisu powinniśmy używać czasu Present Continuous i Present Simple. Poniższe wyrażenia są często wykorzystywane do tego zadania.

They could be.... - Oni mogą być.....

It' s probably... - To najprawdopodobniej jest....

They seem to.... - Wydaje się, że oni.....

He may be..... - On może być.....

The picture presents children in the destroyed city. In the foreground I see five children. They are running somewhere. Those children are smiling and waving. In the background there are debris of two houses. They could be destroyed by war.
